Pareodinia ceratophora subsp. scopaeus (Sarjeant, 1972, p.26, pl.2, fig.4) Lentin and Williams, 1973, p.108. Emendation: Below, 1990, p.67, as Pareodinia ceratophora var. scopaeus.
Originally Pareodinia ceratophora var. scopaeus, subsequently (and now) Pareodinia ceratophora subsp. scopaeus. Below (1990, p.67–68) retained this taxon as a varietas — however, Lentin and Williams (1993, p.492) retained it at subspecific rank. N.I.A.

Age: late Bathonian–early Callovian.
