Pareodinia prolongata Sarjeant, 1959. According to Sarjeant (1959), Pareodinia prolongata has an apical horn of length approximately equal to that of the theca. The phragma is finely granulate.
Size: overall length 90-120 µm, holotype, length 105 µm, horn length 50 µm, width 50 µm.

A specie s of Pareodinia with a terminal horn of length approximately equal to that of theca.

Original description: Sarjeant, 1959, p.336
Theca oval, with a somewhat acuminate apex prolonged into a slender, hollow horn of length approximately equal to that of the theca. The membrane is transparent and of yellowish colour; an extremely faint granulation may be seen at high magnification.
Dimensions: Type: overall length 105µm, length of horn 50µm, maximum breadth 50µm. The type is of about average dimension; all specimens had an overall length within the range 90 µm to 120 µm.
