Palaeocystodinium rhomboides ssp. ovatum (Wetzel, 1933a, p.168–169, pl.2, fig.18) Lentin and Williams, 1973, p.104. Holotype: Wetzel, 1933a, pl.2, fig.18. Originally Ceratium fusus forma ovatum (Appendix B), subsequently (and now) Palaeocystodinium? rhomboides subsp. ovatum. Age: Senonian.
