Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: Oval body, wall thickness 1-1.5μm, two layers nearly equal in thickness, inner wall smooth, outer wall surface (including processes) slight particulate or nearly smooth. With more than 20 intratabular processes, most are wide (6 - 9μm), trumpet-shaped or tubular, distally open, the edges of the end are complete or slightly wave-like or diluted dentate; On the holotype, the majority of the flare edge has small protrusions (length 5-7μm), small protrusions end sharp or short bifurcate; Few processes are thin, 2.5 μm wide, hollow; sometimes with rod-shaped protrusions. The thin processes are limited to the apex and cingulum, while the thick ones are on the precingular, postcingular and antapex. The tabulation may be 4', 6'’, 6c, 5‘'', 1’’’’. Archeopyle apical when it is clear. Body length 56-60μm, width 37-52μm, process length 17-25μm (Measured 2); the holotype body length 60μm, width of 52μm, processes length 20-25μm, width 9 μm at center.
Comparison: This species differs from other species of this genus in most processes are large, with dentate or bifurcate protrusion edges.
Location and stratigraphy: Aktao County Qimugen; Qimugen fm lower member.
