Description: The outline is pentagonal, the two antapical horns strongly degenerated, but one of them is still shown, short-spiked, blunt-ended, 1--3μm long, and the other is broadly rounded. Cyst wall surface finely grained, or with short vertical stripes. Cingulum ring form, width 5.5-7μm. Archeopyle is not obvious, may be combined, (tl3P) type a. Other features are the same with Sinocysta minuta. The cyst length is 45-47.5μm, width 38-47. 5μm (measured 7); Holotype length 47μm, width 47. 5μm, cingulum width about 5. 5_μm, an antapical horn length about 1. 5μm.
Comparison: This species differs from Sinocysta minuta in that it has an asymmetric tiny antapical horn.
Location and stratigraphy: Ulugqat County Basebulak area; upper member of the Kukebai Formation, the bottom of the Wuyitake Formation, the lower member of the Qimugen Formation, the second third member of the Wulagen Formation and the Basebulak Formation.
