Description: ventral-dorsal flattened , outline pentagonal, length larger than width, or equal, cingulum more or less bulging. Upper cyst conical or bell-shaped, edges slightly bum, apical horn microdisplay or lacking, apical blunt, generally closed, occasionally with top hole. Lower cyst inverted trapezoidal, the two antapical horn degenerated to different extents, one is more obvious, conical, blunt end, up to 6μm long, another wide circle. Cingulum locates at equatorial position, annular, width 5.5-7. 5μm, the edge is defined by the fine ridge. Sulcus lacking. Cyst thin, granular surface, the grain is weak or significant, or with knife-shaped wrinkles. The archeopyle may be combined, usually not obvious. Cyst length 50-57μm, width 40-54μm (measured 7); Holotype length 54μm, width 40μm, one antapical horn length 3μm, cingulum width 5. 5μm
Comparison: This species is different from Sinocysta minuta, S. subtilis (sp.nov.) by a larger cyst and usually lacking an apical hole.
Location and stratigraphy: Ulugqat County Bashibuke, wuyitake fm bottom, qimugen fm lower member, Wulagen fm and Basebulak fm member 3.
