Membranosphaera tuberculata Malyavkina in Samoilovitch and Mtchedlishvili, 1961, p.255, pl.84, figs.7a–b,8. Holotype: Samoilovitch and Mtchedlishvili, 1961, pl.84, figs.7a–b. Malyavkina in Samoilovitch and Mtchedlishvili (1961)= expressly cited this taxon as a species; it was therefore not a new combination in Lentin and Williams (1973, p.94). Age: Oxfordian–middle Kimmeridgian.
