Now Gerlachidium. Originally Lejeunia (an illegitimate generic name), subsequently Wilsonidium?, thirdly Lejeunecysta, fourthly (and now) Gerlachidium.
Bujak and Davies, 1983, retained this species in Lejeunecysta. Lentin and Williams, 1985, retained it in Gerlachidium Benedek and Sarjeant, 1981
