Lejeunia tricuspis

Lejeunia tricuspis (Wetzel, 1933a, p.166, pl.2, fig.14) Górka, 1963, p.40. Emendation: Lejeune-Carpentier and Sarjeant, 1981, p.20, as Lejeunecysta tricuspis.

Combination illegitimate since the generic name Lejeunia is illegitimate.
Now Phelodinium. Originally Peridinium, subsequently Lejeunia (combination illegitimate), thirdly Astrocysta, fourthly Senegalinium, fifthly Lejeunecysta, sixthly (and now) Phelodinium.
Tax. sr. synonym of Lejeunia (now Phelodinium) kozlowskii Gorka, 1963, according to Harker and Sarjeant, 1975. Lindgren, 1984, retained Lejeunia (as Phelodinium) kozlowskii as a separate species.
