From Fensome et al., 2019:
Membranilarnacia leptoderma (Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, p.50–51, pl.10, figs.7,9) Eisenack, 1963a, p.101. Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, pl.10, fig.9; Fauconnier and Masure, 2004, pl.54, fig.1. Originally Membranilarnax, subsequently (and now) Membranilarnacia. Age: Albian.

Locus typicus: Omati, Papua
Stratum typicum: ?Albian

Original descrpition: Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, p. 50-51: Membranilarnax leptoderma
Shell rather thick-walled, sphaeroidal to slightly oval with a granular surface and, in the two species available, a large pylome at one pole. The outer thin membrane which envelops the shell, except over the pylome, is supported by very slender, widely separated processes, the ends of which are either bifurcate or slightly broadened.
Dimensions. Holotype overall diameter 63-68 µm, diameter of shell 50x46 µm, pylome 25 µm.

Affinities:
Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, p. 51: Membranilarnax leptoderma
This species differs from all other species of Membranilarnax in the rather wide space between the shell and the outer membrane, and the simple and distantly spaced supporting processes.
