Lithodinia pertusa Duxbury, 1977. According to the diagnosis, this is a fairly thick-walled proximate cyst. The wall is perforate with very low sutural crests outlining the tabulation of 4', 6", 7c, 7"’, 1p, 1pv, 1"”. Archeopyle apical. The closest resemblance is with Gonyaulax bulloidea which differs in having granular plates and crests. The plates and crests of L.pertusa are distinctly perforate. Size: (archeopyle formed), 65-76 by 68-86 µm.
