NOW Escharisphaeridia. Originally Chytroeisphaeridia, subsequently Lithodinia, thirdly (and now) Escharisphaeridia. Age: Late Callovian.

Original description (Sarjeant, 1968)
Derivation of name: named in honour of Stanley A.J. Pocock, pioneer of the study of Canadian Jurassic assemblages.
Diagnosis: A species of Chytroeisphaeridia characterised by the possession of a pronouncedly granular surface.
Holotype: Specimen V. 52306/l, collections of the British Museum (Natural History), London.
Locality and horizon: Marnes de Dives, foreshore exposure (L. lamberti Zone), Falaise des Vaches Noires, Villers-sur-Mer.
Dimensions: Holotype: length (apex lacking) 45 µ, breadth 55µ. Range: length (apices lacking) 38-45 µ, breadth 50-55 µ.
Remarks: Similar specimens, albeit somewhat larger, have been recorded from the upper part of the S. calloviense Zone (Lower Callovian) of Bavent, Normandy (Sarjeant, 1965); they have also been noted in Canadian Upper Jurassic assemblages by Stanley A.J. Pocock, in an unpublished report courteously communicated to the author.
