Kenleyia essentialis
Kenleyia? essentialis (De Coninck, 1969) Stover and Evitt, 1978
Now Fibrocysta. Originally Lanternosphaeridium, subsequently Kenleyia?, thirdly (and now) Fibrocysta.
Stover and Evitt, 1978, considered this to be a provisionally accepted species of Kenleyia.

Lanternosphaeridium essentiale n.sp.
Diagnosis: The organism consists of an ovoid body with a granulate and blunt protrusion of the membrane at the apical pole. At the antapical pole, the process seems to widen immediately at the distal end, unless it is an accidental deformation. The other processes which cover the shell are all pointed and slender. The shell has a large archaeopyle between the apical pole with the granulate protrusion and the equatorial area.
Dimensions: shell 60/65 µm. Granulate protrusion about 20 µm.
Remarks: The holotype differs from L. bipolare (Cookson and Eisenack 1965) in the characteristics of the processes, its more rounded form and the thinner wall.
