Kiokansium williamsii C. Singh, 1983. According to Singh (1983), Kiokansium williamsii is skolochorate, with an elongate, ellipsoidal central body; autophragm thin, smooth. Central body bearing 60 or more, uniformly distributed, nontabular and slender processes; stems about 0.8 µm and straight; tips of processes closed, slightly flared, and fringed with up to 4 µm straight or recurved spinules. Spinules covered with short hair-like bristles visible only at high magnification; Length of the processes from 1/5 to 1/3 length of central body; Archeopyle 2P, operculum free, often remaining in place. Size: overall length including processes 62-82 µm, overall width including processes 48-62 µm, length of central body 45-65 µm, width 27-42 µm, length of processes 10-18 µm

Skolochorate cysts; central body elongate ellipsoidal; autophragm thin, smooth, and single layered; central body bearing 60 or more, uniformly distributed, nontabular, and slender processes; stems of the processes about 0.8 Ám wide and straight; tips of the processes closed, slightly flared, and fringed with up to 4 Ám long, straight or recurved spinules; spinules covered with short, hair-like bristles visible only at high magnification; length of the processes from 1/5 to 1/3 of the length of the central body; archeopyle precingular, type 2P; operculum free, often remaining in place.
