Original description: Chen, 1982, p. 38
Shape: Cysts biconical, mostly dorsalventrally compressed with single apical and antapical horns of mostly equal length, both horns much reduced.
Wall relationships: Autophragm only, with thin appearance.
Wall features: Parasutural features absent; autophragm mostly smooth, sometimes covered with a few granules.
Paratabulation: Indicated by archeopyle only, presumably gonyaulacacean.
Archeopyle: Precingular Type P (3" only); operculum free, sometimes seen trapped inside autocyst.
Paracingulum: Not indicated.
Parasulcus: Not indicated.
Dimensions: Holotype 139 Ám long, 109 Ám wide; paratype 150 Ám long,103 Ám wide; others (18 specimens measured) 108 (130-150) 175 Ám long; 90 (100-110) 115 Ám wide.

Affinities:
Chen, 1982, p. 38: K. evittii differs from K. glabra in having much reduced apical and antapical horns and a thin appearing autophragm.

Age and occurrences: In Madagascar (Ankamotra-1 well), definitely Oxfordian to Kimmeridgian, probably extending into Callovian.
