Cannosphaeropsis aemulum ssp. integrum, Cookson and Eisenack, 1958

Now Rigaudella aemula ssp. integra. Originally Cannosphaeropsis aemula ssp. integra, subsequently Adnatosphaeridium aemulum ssp. integrum, thirdly (and now) Rigaudella aemula ssp. integra.

Diagnosis:
Shell sphaeroidal with a number of hollow, funnel-like processes the wall of which are, for the most part, entire or only slightly perforated. The "funnels" are connected by short delicate threads.

Dimensions:
Overall diameter 95-128 µm, processes 24-38 µm.

Affinities:
The subspecies integrum is readily distinguishable from the typical examples of C. aemula by the rather shorter, broader and more entire processes.
