Eucladinium spinosissimum (Cookson and Eisenack, 1970a, p.141, pl.11, figs.5–6) Stover and Evitt, 1978, p.104. Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1970a, pl.11, fig.5. Originally Deflandrea, subsequently Isabelia (combination illegitimate), thirdly Isabelidinium, fourthly (and now) Eucladinium. Age: Senonian.

Original description: Cookson and Eisenack, 1970, p.141: Deflandrea spinosissima
Shell moderately large with slanting to convex sides in both epitheca and hypotheca; a short, blunt apical horn and a single short antapical horn on one side. A large internal body either partially or almost entirely fills the hypotheca and part of the cpitheca. The archeopyle is broadly triangular to almost circular in outline. The whole surface of the shell is densely and very finely spinulose.
Dimensions: Holotype: c. 100 µm long, 72 µm broad. Range: shell c. 60-115 µm long, 44-87 µm broad.
