Exochosphaeridium longifilum n. sp.

Type: The specimen shown on Plate 8, Fig. 13 and preserved in the Gingin Brook specimen.
Diagnosis: Shell globular, with numerous hollow, fairly broad, long, pointed, thin-walled appendages, densely attached.
Dimensions: Diameter of the globular shell approx. 86 μm, total approx. 170 μm.
Remarks: The appendages were apparently very flexible.
Occurrence: Gingin Brook Bore, at 402-414 ft.
