Imbatodinium exiguum (Alberti, 1961) D÷rh÷fer and Davies, 1980
Now Batioladinium?. Originally Broomea, subsequently (and now) Batioladinium?, thirdly Necrobroomea, fourthly Imbatodinium.
Below, 1990, suggested that this species may be simply a smooth variant of Batioladinium? (as Neocrobroomea) pelliferum (Alberti, 1961) Brideaux, 1975.

Original description: Alberti, 1961, p.26: Broomea exigua
Shell flattened, outline nearly oval, often with irregular bulges. Epitheca more conical than the smaller hypotheca, antapex blunted. Apical horn short, ¦ sharp delimited. The two antapical horns are very short, usually unequal, ends blunted. Shell surface rough. Pylome and girdle questionable.
Dimensions: Holotype 74 µm, breadth 39 µm, length of antapical horns 3 and 5 µm, apical horn 12 µm.
Affinities:
Alberti, 1961, p.26: Broomea exigua
Broomea exigua differs from B. jaegeri in the stoudy outline of the shell, and the shape of the antapical horns. The apical horn of B. exigua is much shorter.
Now Batioladinium?. Originally Broomea, subsequently (and now) Batioladinium?, thirdly Necrobroomea, fourthly Imbatodinium.
