Isabelia spinosissima
Isabelia spinosissima (Cookson and Eisenack, 1970) Lentin and Williams, 1976
Combination illegitimate since the generic name Isabelia is illegitimate.
Now Eucladinium. Originally Deflandrea, subsequently Isabelia (combination illegitimate), thirdly Isabelidinium, fourthly (and now) Eucladinium.
Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1970, pl.11, fig.5
Age: Senonian
Original description: Cookson and Eisenack, 1970, p.141
Shell moderately large with slanting to convex sides in both epitheca and hypotheca; a short, blunt apical horn and a single short antapical horn on one side. A large internal body either partially or almost entirely fills the hypotheca and part of the cpitheca. The archeopyle is broadly triangular to almost circular in outline. The whole surface of the shell is densely and very finely spinulose.
Dimensions: Holotype: c. 100 Ám long, 72 Ám broad. Range: shell c. 60-115 Ám long, 44-87 Ám broad.
