Original description: Hultberg, 1985, p.123
Chorate cyst, composed of endophragm and periphragm, closely appressed between processes. The surface of the endophragm is smooth. The surface of the periphragm is granulate and fibrous. Both endophragm and periphragm are comparatively thick. The shape of the endophragm is ellipsoidal, with a characteristic blunt apical protrusion. The shape of the periphragm is ellipsoidal, with a complex apical projection. The ornamentation consists of nontabular processes. The processes are slender and solid, approximately 3/4x the diameter of the periphragm in length. The process tips are distinctly capitate. The processes are slightly fibrous. Some processes may be branched into two, or rarely, three process tips. The archeopyle is precingular, type P, formed by the detachment of paraplate 3"". Operculum free. Paracingulum and parasulcus are not discernible.
Size: 112-118 Ám (diameter).
