Locus typicus: Loffre Borehole, Nord, France
Stratum typicum: Turonian

Original diagnosis: Davey and Verdier, 1976, p.319
The cyst is spherical to subspherical and has a moderately thick lightly to densely granular wall. Processes are numerous, more than one per reflected plate area, and are mainly simple although some may be joined proximally or, very rarely, medially. These bifid, compound processes occur in the pre- and postcingular regions. The processes are elongate subconical, oblate, finely striate and truncated distally. The antapical process is large, tubular and appears to be closed distally. The archaeopyle is typically precingular (3") with the operculum remaining attached.
