A Geiselodinium species with shel very closely appressed to the central body. Outline more or less circular to five-sided. The horns are but weakly indicated; the apical horn is not pointed, but calotte-shaped. The sculpture is mainly restricted to the areas of the horns. Furrows obscure.

The type species is slightly torn along the transverse furrow. Numerous wrinkles.

Affinities: Krutzsch, 1962, p. 44: This species could perhaps be a subspecies of G. geiseltalensis. The differences could be within the width of variation, or be ecologically determined.
