Glomodinium "tripartitum" (Johnson and Hills, 1973, p.208, pl.2, figs.12-14,17-18; pl.3, figs.1-2; text-figs.11A-C) Davies, 1983, p.17. Holotype: Johnson and Hills, 1973, pl.2, fig.18. Originally Pareodinia, subsequently Glomodinium, thirdly Evansia. Taxonomic senior synonym: Tenua (now Evansia) evittii, according to Wiggins (1975, p.105). Age: Late Bathonian.

Cyst circular to ellipsoidal in outline, tapering to a short apical horn, pointed at its tip; tabulationusually apparent only at the archaeopyle, which forms by loss of 3 intercalary plates of approximately equal size; anterior and posterior parts of the pronciple archaeopyle suture serrate; cingulum broad, usually indistinct; cyst wall smooth, relatively thick and resistant to folding; Kalyptra may be present.
Dimensions: (20 specimens) Overall - length 55-64 µm, width 39-46 µm, apical horn 10-14 µm.
