Original diagnosis: Bujak, 1984, p. 196
Discoidal organic-walled microfossils with circular polar outline and irregular membranous flange. Central pylome present, with lid often in place. Diameter of body seen in polar view, excluding membrane, less than 75 Ám.
Dimensions: Body diameter seen in polar view (excluding membrane) 46 to 63 Ám; maximum membrane height 4.5 to 9 Ám; pylome diameter 11 to 22 Ám.

Original description: Bujak, 1984, p. 196
The wall of the main body has a smooth surface and a circular outline in polar view. The surrounding membrane extends around the main body and is thin, pale and often broken or torn. The central pylome is circular with a smooth edge that is occasionally thickened.
