Original diagnosis: Davey, 1968, p.1
Shell ovoidal with strong, tapering apical horn accounting for about one-fifth to one quater of overall length. Shell wall of moderate thickness, granular to tuberculate. Tabulation 4", 1a, 6"", ?6c, 7""", 1p, 1""""; crests low, bearing small spinelets. Cingulum strongly spiral, of moderate breadyh: sulcus broad and extending to antapex.
