Archeopyle shape resembling that of other species of Aprobolocysta.
Dimensions. Total length of holotype 65 Ám. Range of length with operculum missing (13 specimens) 47(55) 61 Ám, width 25(34)38 Ám.

Affinities:
Backhouse, 1987, p. 212: Aprobolacysta galeata
Absence of an apical horn and wrinkled cyst surface distinguish A. galeata from Batioladinium micropodum (Eisenack & Cookson) Brideaux 1975. In A. bipartita the periphragm is only folded in precingular and postcingular areas.
