Original description: Cookson and Eisenack, 1961
Shell thick walled, smooth, homogenous, occasionally perforated by straight narrow pores. Lid 6-sided, usually with 3 short and 3 long sides in alternation.
Dimensions: Type-length 66 µm, breadth 55 µm. Range-length 62-77 µm, breadth 57-65 µm.
