Horologinella angulata

From Fensome et al., 2019:
Horologinella angulata de Coninck, 1985, p.67–68, pl.1, figs.11–12. Holotype: de Coninck, 1985, pl.1, fig.11. Age: Middle Eocene.

Original description: [de Coninck, 1985] (translated from French):

Horologinella angulata n. sp.
Pl. 1 , fig. 11-12.

Horologinella sp. A in DE CONINCK 1977,
p. 45, pl. 6, fig. 33-35.

Diagnosis: The organism consists of a strongly flattened shell that resembles a hyperboloid when viewed from the side and is truncated by an apical and antapical surface. These surfaces form acute angles with the concave lateral surfaces. The wall is double; the endophragm, if it detaches from the ectophragm, withdraws mainly at the corners.
Dimensions: Width approximately 20-24 µm; height 15-20 µm.
Note: The species is distinguished from H. incurvata COOKSON & EISENACK 1962 only by its angular corners. H. angulata n. sp. differs more in shape and size from the other species assigned to the genus.
Holotype: Pl. 1, fig. 11. The organism depicted in DE CONINCK 1977, pl. 6, fig. 33 from the Woensdrecht drill hole -369 m (Brussels Sands); preparation 2 of this sample; coord. England Finder U32/3-V32/1.
Paratypes: Woensdrecht drill hole -380 m; preparation 2; coord. England Finder D53/1. Same drill hole -354 m; preparation 2; coord. England Finder E31. Mol drill hole -319.8 m; preparation 1; coord. England Finder Z55/2(1).
