Outline of shell rounded to oval, flattened. Epitheca more conical than the always larger, at the antapex clearly rounded hypotheca. Transverse furrow ¦ indented. The surface of the shell covered by a delicate membrane, developing from ¦ long marginal prosesses.
Shell divided by transverse furrow into two unequal halfs, hypotheca max. two times larger than epitheca. Length ratio hypotheca : epitheca 1.3 - 1.5 : 1. Processes, connected by basal sutures or arising from those, pointed at the distel ends. Membrane of shell yellowish to brown.
Dimensions: Holotype: length of epitheca 9 Ám, hypotheca 16 Ám, breadth of transverse furrow c. 3 Ám, breadth of shell 30 Ám. Length of processes 16-22 Ám.
