Hystrichosphaeridium attadalense n. sp.
Plate 4, Fig. 20

Type: The specimen shown on Plate 4, Fig. 20 and preserved in specimen Attadale No. 1.
Diagnosis: Shell spherical, thin-walled, smooth, with numerous hollow appendages approximately as long as the radius of the shell or slightly shorter. These are attached to the shell with a broad base, then taper slightly to end in short funnels. The rim of the funnels tapers into fairly long, pointed tips, which usually protrude laterally or are recurved. The appendages vary in width, and the funnels vary in complexity.
Dimensions: Type: Diameter of the shell approx. 46 μ, total approx. 81 μ.
Occurrence: Attadale Bore, at 354 ft.
