NOW Multiplicisphaeridium?. Originally Hystrichosphaera (name not validly published), subsequently Hystrichosphaeridium, thirdly Hystrichosphaeridium?, fourthly Veryhachium, fifthly (and now) Multiplicisphaeridium?.
Stover and Evitt, 1978, considered this to be a problematical species of Hystrichosphaeridium.
