Shell small, rather deeply saucer-shaped, relatively thick-walled, the outer surface delimited by the sculptural pattern into a central and marginal zone. The central zone is ornamented with a shallow, wide-meshed reticulum the muri of which are straight or wavy, evenly or unevenly thickened and, occasionally, incomplete. The marginal zone is characterized by the development of closely arranged radial thickenings which extend from the limits of the central zone to the rim of the shell.
