NOW Dilatisphaera. Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Dilatisphaera (combination not validly published), thirdly Palaeohystrichosphaeridium, fourthly (and now) Dilatisphaera.
Taxonomic junior synonym: Ozotobrachion? podolicus Sheshegova, 1973, an acritarch species, according to Kiryanov (1978, p.90).
