Scolochate cyst with two-layered central body and tubiform, holloe, striate, distally opened and aculeate processes. The endophragm is finely granulate, the distinctly thinner sometimes perforate periphragm striate. Combination archaeopyle obvious.

The in habit variable processes are usually tubiform. Bases and distal parts of the processes wider than middle part. Antapical process usually enlarged. Distinct combination archaeopyle (apical plates + one precingular plate). On several specimens parts of the operculum (apical) adnate. Processes intratabular, processes of sulcal area thinner. Affinities:
Kirsch, 1991, p. 85: This spicies differs from Florentina mantellii (Davey and Williams 1969) in the archaepyle form and the distal aculeate and nonfurcate or digitate processes. Florentina resex Davey and Verdier 1976 possesses longer processes.
