Cyst habit: proximate/acavate, ovoidal with apical and antapical flattening. Wall consisting of massive pedium, luxuria weakly felty with irregularly distributed, fine hairs, which distally end acuminate to capitate, and sometimes form thin trabeculae, Areation formula PR, 4", 1a, 5"", 6c, 5""", 1"""", as, FM, ls, rs, ps. Archaeopyle: apical/anterior intercalary, 3"+1a, in rare cases also PR+2"+3"+1a, which may be due to secondary, mechanical causes. Operculum secate, solvate. Opercular formula 3"s+1as. Along the limits, the ornaments are fused into a low, continuous seam, or isolated but closely spaced.
Dimensions (holotype: l: 41,0 Ám, w: 38,0 Ám, mean dorsoventral diameter: 31,4 Ám (4 specimens).

V. euareatum differs from V. vermipellitum and V. vermicylindratum in an essentially clearer areation, especially of the sulcal cingular areas.
V. vermicylindratum, in addtion, is more elongate and resembles the completely inareate species V. spinosum.
