Cladopyxidium verrucosum Marheinecke, 1992, p.103, pl.22, figs.5–8,12. Holotype: Marheinecke, 1992, pl.22, figs.7–8,12. Contrary to the opinion of Lentin and Williams (1993, p.108), Williams et al. (1998, p.118) considered this name to be validly published. Age: early Maastrichtian.

Description:
Cyst habit proximochorate, acavate, ovaloidal to nearly sphaerical, small to very small. Wall composed of pedium and luxuria, distal tegillum developed. Tegillum smooth, perforated by irregular distibuted pores. The tegillum forms finate septae and intraarate "warts", which do not appear on every and never on the cingular areae. The septae are conflate, usually apertate, smooth walled, distally flattened with paralell running furrows on the chagrenate distal ends.

Affinities:
This species is very similar to C.sepyocrispum Below, 1987 but differs in having inraareate warts and irregular distributed pores on the tegillum.
