Descriotion:
Cyst small, acavate, proximochorate, sphaeroidal. Wall composed of pedium and luxuria developing a distal tegillum. Tegillum smooth, perforated by peniareate pores. The tegillum forms finate, smooth septae not reaching more than 1/8 of the cyst-diameter.
Aeration formula: 4", 4a, 7"", 7c, 6""", 2"""", as, FM, ls, ps.
Archaeopyle apical, PR+2"+3". Operculum secate, federate, (PR+2"+3").
Affinities:
C. glogolosum differs from C. saeptum in the cyst habit, the shape of 1"" and the archaeopyle.
