Original description: Marheinecke, 1992, p.91
Cyst habit ovaloidal with horns, circumcavate, dorsoventrally flattened. Periblast apical ending in a blunt, wide horn. Two antapical horns are developed. Left one short, wide and blunt, right one rudimentary. Wall thin, weakly granulate. Cindulum and Sulcus not indicated. Endoblast ovaloidal, thinwalled, weakly granulate. Periarchaeopyle intercalary 2a, iso-deltaform. Operculum secate. Endoarchaeopyle intercalary 2a, iso-deltaform. Operculum secate.
Dimensions: Range - length periblast 56(62)72 µm, breadth periblast 35(38)43 µm, length endoblast 33(37)42 µm, breadth endoblast 25(28)36 µm.

Affinities:
Marheinecke, 1992, p. 91: This species differs from M. minor in the iso-deltaform archaeopyle and the shape of the endoblast.
