Cyst habit sphaeroidal to subsphaeroidal, wall composed of pedium and luxuria which forms 16-18 tubifom processes. Processes intraareate, distal ends open with smooth margins. Length of processes ca. 2/3 of the central body diameter. Surface of central body smooth. Cingular- and sulcal processes missing. Areation reflected by distribution of processes. Accedation formula ?PR, 4", 6"", NRc, 5-6""", 1p, 1"""". Archaeopyle: apical 1"+2"+3"+4"; operculum secate, foederate (?PR+1"+2"+3"+4")s.

Affinities:
Marheinecke, 1992, p. 64: O. levimarginatum differs from O. complex in the decelopment of the distal process margins. Processes compared to central body shorter. Overall size smaller than O. complex.
