A species of the genus Baltiasphaeridium with numerous, very short processes, which are closed distally by thick, solid bulges.

Thinn-walled, smooth to granulate, circular capsule covered by numerous 3Á - 4Á long, hollow processes, which are closed distally by rounded, solid and thick bulges. The dimensions of this form are very constant. On one specimen a ellipsoidal opening with zigzag margin was observed, which may be interpreted as pylome.
Dimensions: Capsule diameter 47(45/50)Á, process length 3-4Á.
