At the time of the transfer, Stancliffe and Sarjeant, 1990, questionably included this species in Adnatosphaeridium.
Holotype: Alberti 1961, pl.9, fig.13 and Stancliffe and Sarjeant, 1990, pl.5, fig.6.
Age: Late Dogger (Bathonian-Callovian)
