Alterbia puyangensis, Jin Guangxing, He Chengquan and Zhu Shenzhao in He Chengquan et al., 1989

NOW Subtilisphaera. Originally Alterbia (generic name illegitimate), subsequently Alterbidinium, thirdly (and now) Subtilisphaera.
Following I.C.N. Article 55.1, the species name Alterbia puyangensis is validly published even though the generic name Alterbia is illegitimate.
