Original description: [He Chengquan, 1991]: (translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019):

Description:
Outline of the body is roughly pentagonal, peridinioid or polygons, length larger than width or nearly equal. With a papillary apical horn, long 5-10μm, two antapical horns, its shape is not regular enough, roughly triangular - trapezoidal, length (excluding processes) 7 .5-10μm, base width 12μm. Side convex, but the lateral horn is not obvious. The wall is delaminated, with sparse thin processes;
Processes are spiny rod like, straight or curved, solid or only hollow at slightly wide base, and connected with the body, ends blunt and simple; sometimes there are more processes near the cingulum, less at the apical antapical horns;
the surface between processes is smooth, or nearly smooth.
In some specimens there may be a cingulum display (as in the equatorial zone of the holotype, the wall is thin).
The archeopyle is not clear, it is likely to be intercalary.

Dimensions:
Cyst length 75-80μm, width 65-80μm, body length (including apical antapical horns) 64-66μm, width 50-68μm, processes length 1-12μm;
Holotype length 75μm, width 65μm, the main body is 66μm long, the width of μm, the length of the top corner is 10p, m, Angular length 7.5-10μm, projection length 1- · 10μm.
