Original description: [He Chengquan, 1991]: (translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019):

Description:
Small body, outline nearly circular.
Wall is thin, transparent, layers unclear, smooth surface.
There are a lot of non-tabular thin processes (about 25), the shape is more consistent, solid, firm, width consistent or tapering distally, the distal end with 4 branches (For example the holotype) or a trifurcated; Branches weak spiny, up to 5 μm, end pointed; Individual processes end simple, perhaps related to the breakage of its distal part.
Archeopyle apical, tA type, formed by the absence of the apex, the edge angular. Operculum free.

Dimensions:
The total diameter 47.5 -50 μm, the body diameter of 30-34 μm, the process length of 10-15 μm (measured 2); the total diameter of the holotype 47.5 μm, the body diameter about 30μm, process length 10 μm.

Affinities:
The new species differs from Cleistosphaeridium tribuliferum in its nearly circular outline, shorter and solid processes, the latter’s were long and hollow.
