Age: Middle Eocene

Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: Body dorsal-ventral contour oval. Wall thickness 1-2μm, the inner layer is smooth, the outer fiber granular. There are fibrous banding processes, the majority are short. The wall is slightly perforated. The distal edge is complete or broken; Except for the processes on the cingulum, the length is 5-17μm in general, the width is 7.5-12.5μm, wherein the apical processes are narrower , the antapical processes are longer (12.5-17μm); Cingulum area appears to be quite wide, processes are flat teeth-shaped, the base is quite wide (17-20μm) and parallel to the long axis of the body, there are 2 tapering processes developed from the base, their ends are truncated or sometimes broken, usually 5-10μm long (when complete up to 20μm); The processes are intratabular, one on each plate. There are only 2 apical processes on the holotype. Archeopyle horseshoe, precingular, formed from the movement of the third precingular plate. Operculum preserved in situ or off.
The body length 87.5-94μm, width 75-82.5μm (measured 3), the holotype body length 92.5μm, width 77μm.
Location and stratigrapy: Wulagen fm.
