Translation Eisenack, 1958: Sarjeant, 1958
Original diagnosis: Eisenack, 1958, p.385: Scriniodinium scutella
Test compressed, broadly oval with pointed apex and shallowly curving antapex. Girdle furrow proportionately deep and broad, removed by about 2/5 of the overall length from the apex. Capsule oval.
