Age: Paleocene

Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: The body is nearly circular, with a nearly cylindrical apical horn, top blunt, and there are several small spines on the horn. The wall is thin, about 1 μm thick, two layers thickness nearly equal, close to each other, the outer wall surface is nearly smooth. There are Adjacent processes sparse processes (about 35), rod or spine like, end blunted or pointed; Some adjacent processes fussed to each other at the base, forming a process cluster; There is a process groupr at the antapex, which seems to be connected by the coronal ridges, consisting of 2 clusters; The processes are not tabular shape, but occasionally show intratabular distribution. The archeopyle is not obvious, but there is a large thinning area in the precingular area, outline nearly horseshoe-shaped, which may be related to the precingular archeopyle. The body length 62μm, width 60μm, the apical horn length about 10μm, the central width about 5 μm, the process length 5 -12μm.
Location and stratigraphy: Wuqia county Basebulak; Qimugen fm Lower member.
