Description: Cyst is medium in size with a rhombus-oval outline. Larger upper cyst, bell-shaped, with an apical horn, variable size, usually papillary or truncated conical; Lower cyst semicircular, lack of antapical horn. Cingulum slightly concave, position equatorial or slightly inferior to lower cyst, ring form, 5-7.5 μm wide, margin decorated with fine ridges, ridges straight or thinly curved, usually clear on dorsal side, obscured on ventral side. Sulcus present or absent. Cyst wall is thin, monolayer, granular surface and with some short wrinkles. Archeopyle large, combined type, outline hoof or bow shape. Operculum connectd and preserved in-situ. Cyst length 45-62 μm, wide 42-59μm (measured 5); Holotype length 62μm, width 59μm, cingulum width about 6μm.
Comparison: This one is morphologically similar to Laciniadinium orbiculatum, but the latter is larger with particles and spines on the surface.
