Pseudokomewuia granulata He Chengquan, 1980

Holotype: He Chengquan, 1980, pl.1, fig.10
Age: Oligocene

Original description (He Chengquan, 1980)
Description: Fusiform to rhomboidal in outline with one short apical and one antapical horns. The apical horn very strong, 5-7.5μm long, base 7.5-10μm wide, usually cylindrical, surface, granular; the antapical horn rather small, 1.5- 2.5μm long, base 2-3.5μm wide, at the free end somewhat pointed, surface smooth. Mostly with one or two transverse folds at equatorial area, which may be a reflection of the cinculum. Wall thin (1μm ± ) and two layers always hard to distinguish, periphragm granular. Inner body present, it lies closely under periphragm, deviating only at the bases of the horns. Archeopyle, if present, apical, formed by the removal of an apical region. Operculum attached. All specimens contain yellow-green nucleus- like bodies within shell.
Dimensions: Holotype: 57.5μm long, 52μm Wide; apical horn 6μm long, base 10μm wide; antapical horn 2.5μm long, base 4μm wide; inner body 49μm long, 49μm wide. Paratype: 58μm long, 60μm Wide; inner body 5µm long, 48.5μm wide. Range: Shell 50-62.5 μm long, 50-62μm wide! inner body 45-56μm long, 47-57.5μm Wide. Measured 20 specimens.
Comparison: The new species is distinguished from the other ones of the subgenus by Possession of granulate ornamentation.
Occurrence: The Second member ( Oligocene ) of Yongning Group; Shangsi County, Guangxi; it has also been recorded from the Lower Coal member (Oligocene) of Yongning Group, the Northern vicinity of Nanning, Guangxi.
